Mobilita Fínsko – 1.deň

Tervetuloa Suomeen!

Pre 10 študentov a 2 vyučujúce v sobotu ráno začala mobilita do fínskych Helsínk. Po náročnej ceste boli študenti prijatí a ubytovaní v rodinách. Rodiny si pre študentov pripravili rodinný program. V pondelok sa pre všetkých začal pracovný deň. So svojimi fínskymi priateľmi sa zúčastnili vyučovacích hodín, ktoré tu trvajú 75 minút. Zatiaľ absolvovali hodiny fyziky, angličtiny, ruštiny, fínčiny a hudobnej výchovy. Poobede sme absolvovali prehliadku mesta. Zo všetkých miest nás najviac očarila moderná mestská knižnica s množstvom rôznych oddelení a služieb pre svojich užívateľov.

For 10 students and 2 teachers, mobility to Helsinki, Finland began on Saturday morning. After a difficult journey, the students were welcomed and accommodated in families. The families prepared a family program for the students. On Monday, the working day began for everyone. They attended lessons with their Finnish friends. So far, they have visited lessons of physics, English, Russian, Finnish and music. In the afternoon, we took a tour of the city. Of all the places, the modern city library with a number of different departments and services for its users fascinated us the most. 

 

Mobilita Fínsko – 2.deň

Druhý deň sme začali v škole účasťou na ďalších hodinách. Najzaujímavejšia však bola hodina fínčiny vytvorená špeciálne pre nás. A hoci sme si poriadne potrápili naše jazyky, zopár fráz sa na nás „nalepilo“. Nasledovala prednáška o špecifikách edukačného systému a prezentácia krajiny.
Po vyučovaní sme navštívili námornú obrannú pevnosť zapísanú v UNESCO na ostrove Suomenlinna. Pevnosť bola vybudovaná v 18.storočí a slúžila na obranu Helsínk. Po sviežej prechádzke po ostrove sme sa trajektom vrátili do mesta a do našich fínskych rodín. Hei hei!

The second day we started at school by attending more classes. The most interesting one, however, was the Finnish class created especially for us. And although we really struggled with our languages, a few phrases “stuck” with us. This was followed by a lecture on the specifics of the education system and a presentation of the country.

After the class, we visited the UNESCO-listed naval defense fortress on the island of Suomenlinna. The fortress was built in the 18th century and served to defend Helsinki. After a refreshing walk around the island, we took the ferry back to the city and to our Finnish families. Hei hei!

Tretí deň pre slovenských a fínskych študentov začal v objatí moderného umenia. Navštívili sme múzeum moderného umenia Amos Rex, kde sme sa prostredníctvom rôznych edukačných aktivít zamýšľali nad témou ‘budúcnost’. Záber diskusií bol naozaj široký, prechádzal od osobného smerovania študentov, cez rôzne spoločenské aspekty a vyvrcholil témou budúcnosti planéty. Študenti svoje tvrdenia aj vizualizovali a prostredníctvom rôznych predmetov stvárnili svoj pohľad na zadanú tému. Poobede sme sa vrátili do školy a venovali sa otázkam fungovania študentskej samosprávy vo fínskej i slovenskej škole. Študenti si vzájomne vymenili svoje poznatky a skúsenosti s prácou na rôznych projektoch a v študentskom parlamente. Vo Finsku na školách okrem študentského parlamentu súbežne funguje aj študentská rada a oba orgány si delia rôzne kompetencie. Študenti prezentovali rôzne možnosti, ktoré majú v jednotlivých krajinách tieto orgány študentskej samosprávy. Neskoré popoludnie sme sa presunuli na verejné klzisko a na korčuliach sme ukončili ďalší pracovný deň.

The third day for Slovak and Finnish students began in the embrace of modern art. We visited the Amos Rex Museum of Modern Art, where we reflected on the topic of ‘future’ through various educational activities. The scope of the discussion was really wide, ranging from the personal direction of the students, through various social aspects and culminating in the topic of the future of the planets. The students also visualized their statements and through various objects they portrayed their view of the assigned topic. In the afternoon, we returned to school and addressed the issues of the functioning of student government in Finnish and Slovak schools. The students exchanged their knowledge and experience with working on various projects and in the student parliament. In Finland, in addition to the student parliament, a student council also operates in schools in parallel, and both bodies share various competencies. The students present the various options that these student government bodies have in their countries. Late in the afternoon, we moved to the public ice rink and ended another workday on skates.

HEUREKA: Science and Wonder

Štvrtkové dopoludnie sme opäť strávili v škole na vyučovaní. Popoludní sme sa však presunuli do vedeckého centra v Tikurilla. Centrum sprostredkúva zábavnou formou vedecké zákonitosti v rôznych oblastiach. Mohli sme sa tak naplno ponoriť do fyzikálnych či chemických pokusov, vyskúšali sme si beztiažový stav v astronomickej sekcii a prešli sme sa krajinou z doby ľadovej.

Thursday morning we spent again at school teaching. In the afternoon, however, we moved to the science center in Tikurilla. The center conveys scientific laws in various fields in an entertaining way. We were able to fully immerse ourselves in physics or chemistry experiments, we tried weightlessness in the astronomy section and we walked through the landscape from the Ice Age.
