The Integrated Literacy in Action - ILA project continued on April 17 - April 21, 2023 with mobility in Spain, where we were hosted by the partner school IES Eras de Renueva. During the meeting, as an expert teacher, I followed the programme prepared by the host school - PROGRAMME, Module 3 - Scientific and Technological Literacy.

On Tuesday, we travelled to Ponferrada, where we completed a workshop at the Museo de la luz (Museum of Light). The topic of the workshop was Science to improve our planet. During the excursion, we learned how electricity was produced from coal at the beginning of the last century. The workshops were followed by a tour of the castle in Ponferrada, and in the afternoon we had another workshop in Las Médulas, during which we saw what technologies the Romans used to extract gold, when they reshaped most of the landscape by drilling boreholes into the rock and then washing it with large amounts of water, so that the rock practically collapsed. It is, in a way, the forerunner of today's hydraulic mining methods. We returned to León late in the evening.

On Friday morning, we finished our work on the lesson plans and presented our outputs. As a memory of the project, we planted a ginkgo biloba tree together in the school grounds and were presented with certificates.
The mobility ended with Friday lunch, we left León at night from Friday to Saturday. We have many experiences, both personal and professional, and unforgettable memories.
The mobility went without any problems.
