          V sobotu ráno sme sa vydali na dlhú, no nezabudnuteľnú cestu – z Budapešti do Paríža a potom až na exotický ostrov Réunion. Po 28 hodinách cestovania sme konečne dorazili do cieľa!

          Našich študentov srdečne privítali a ubytovali v hostiteľských rodinách, čo im umožnilo spoznať miestnu kultúru a tradície z prvej ruky.

          V pondelok sme navštívili školu Collège Emilien Adam de Villiers, kde nás partneri oboznámili so svojou školou a pripravili pre nás bohatý a zaujímavý program. Spoznali sme typické miestne hry, zoznámili sa s tradičným ovocím, zeleninou a koreninami a dokonca sme si vyskúšali pletenie tradičných opaskov a klobúkov.

          Študenti zo školy nám predstavili aj tradičné tance a hudbu Réunionu – plné rytmu, farieb a energie.

          Popoludní sme navštívili mesto Saint Pierre, kde sme si užili komentovanú prehliadku pouličného graffiti umenia – živého, inšpiratívneho a plného kreativity.

          🌄 Dobrodružstvo v srdci Réunionu!

          Počas mobility pre nás partneri pripravili nezabudnuteľný dvojdňový výlet do Grand Bassin – miesta, ktoré nám doslova vyrazilo dych!

          Prvý deň sme zostúpili do údolia, kde sme si užili osviežujúce kúpanie vo vodopádoch a noc sme strávili priamo v prírode. Na večeru sme ochutnali tradičné jedlo Réunionu – kuracie kari, ktoré bolo dokonalou odmenou po náročnom dni. Noc priniesla aj prekvapenia – privítali nás obrovské pavúky, ktoré nás poriadne vystrašili, no nakoniec sa ukázalo, že sú úplne neškodné.

          Na druhý deň ráno sme po raňajkách začali náročný výstup späť na vrchol – celkovo 187 poschodí a prevýšenie 650 metrov! Bolo to náročné, ale zvládli sme to spolu a pocit na vrchole stál za to!

          Ako zaslúženú odmenu sme popoludní strávili oddychom na pláži, užívali si slnko a premýšľali o dobrodružstve, na ktoré nikdy nezabudneme.

          🌊 Ďalší nezabudnuteľný deň na Réunione!

          Vo štvrtok sme spolu so študentmi z Réunionu navštívili krásnu lagúnu Ermitage, kde sme si vychutnali obed priamo na pláži s úžasným výhľadom na tyrkysové more.

          Popoludní sme pokračovali do Kelonie, kde sme sa dozvedeli množstvo zaujímavostí o morských korytnačkách. Videli sme, ako sa starajú o zranené korytnačky, a dozvedeli sme sa, že na ostrov stále prichádzajú klásť vajíčka už len dve samice – silná pripomienka toho, aké dôležité je chrániť prírodu.

          Študenti mali za úlohu vytvoriť videá o udržateľnosti, v ktorých reflektovali, čo sa naučili.

          V piatok ráno študenti pracovali s pracovnými listami zameranými na životné prostredie. Neskôr sme sa vybrali na výlet za jedinečnými prírodnými úkazmi ostrova – navštívili sme neaktívny kráter Commerson a následne aktívnu sopku Piton de la Fournaise, jednu z najaktívnejších sopiek na svete.

          Deň sme ukončili návštevou Múzea sopiek, kde sme si ešte viac prehĺbili vedomosti.

          Po návrate sme si prevzali certifikáty a večer sme si užili príjemné rozlúčkové stretnutie u jedného zo študentov.

          Bol to plný, inšpiratívny a nezabudnuteľný čas plný učenia, priateľstiev a nových zážitkov!

          ❤️ Záver mobility

          Naša mobilita sa skončila krásnym víkendom stráveným spolu s hostiteľskými rodinami.

          Program bol naozaj pestrý a každý zo študentov zažil niečo výnimočné. Niektorí navštívili sobotný trh plný farieb a vôní – od čerstvého ovocia a zeleniny až po domáce džemy a ručne vyrábané produkty. Iní strávili víkend oddychom na pláži s hostiteľskými rodinami. Niektorí sa dokonca zúčastnili narodeninovej oslavy a jeden študent mal jedinečnú príležitosť zažiť svadbu.

          Nedeľná rozlúčka bola plná emócií.

          Padlo veľa sĺz – zo strany študentov aj hostiteľských rodičov – čo len ukázalo, aké silné väzby sa počas mobility vytvorili.

          Po rozlúčke nás čakal 11-hodinový let do Paríža, kde sme si prestávku spríjemnili krátkou, no nezabudnuteľnou prehliadkou mesta svetiel.

          Táto výmena bola nesmierne inšpiratívna – priniesla nám cenné poznatky, nové skúsenosti a priateľstvá, na ktoré budeme ešte dlho spomínať. ✨

           

          Erasmus+ Mobility on Réunion Island 🇷🇪

          On Saturday morning, we set off on a long but unforgettable journey ✈️ – from Budapest to Paris, and then all the way to the exotic island of Réunion. After 28 hours of traveling, we finally arrived at our destination! 🌺

          Our students were warmly welcomed and accommodated in host families, giving them the chance to experience the local culture and traditions firsthand.

          🏫 On Monday, we visited Collège Emilien Adam de Villiers, where our partners introduced us to their school and prepared a rich and engaging program. We learned about typical local games, got to know traditional fruits, vegetables, and spices, and even tried weaving traditional belts and hats. 🎋

          Students at the school also presented traditional Réunion dances and music, full of rhythm, color, and energy. 💃🪘

          🎨 In the afternoon, we visited the town of Saint Pierre, where we enjoyed a guided tour of street graffiti art – vibrant, inspiring, and full of creativity.

           

          An Adventure in the Heart of Réunion! 🏞️

          During our mobility, our partners prepared an unforgettable two-day trip to Grand Bassin – a place that truly took our breath away!

          On the first day, we hiked down into the valley, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the waterfalls 💦 and spent the night right in the wilderness. For dinner, we had a taste of traditional Réunion cuisine – chicken curry 🍛, which was the perfect reward after a long day. The night brought some surprises too – we were greeted by huge spiders that gave us quite a scare 😅, but in the end, they turned out to be completely harmless.

          The next morning, after breakfast, we began our challenging climb back to the top – a total of 187 floors and an elevation gain of 650 meters! 🏔️ It was tough, but we all made it together 💪, and the feeling at the top was absolutely worth it!

          As a well-deserved reward, we spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach 🏖️, enjoying the sun and reflecting on an adventure we’ll never forget.

           

          Another unforgettable day of our exchange on Réunion!

          On Thursday, together with the students from Réunion, we visited the beautiful Ermitage Lagoon, where we enjoyed lunch right on the beach with an amazing view of the turquoise sea. 🌊🌴

          In the afternoon, we continued to Kelonia, where we learned many interesting facts about sea turtles. We saw firsthand how they care for injured turtles, and we found out that only two female turtles still come to the island to lay their eggs — a powerful reminder of why protecting nature is so important. 🐢💚

          The students also had the task of creating videos about sustainability, in which they reflected on what they had learned.

          On Friday morning, the students worked with worksheets focused on the environment. Later, we went on a trip to explore the island’s unique natural features — we visited the inactive Commerson crater and then the active volcano Piton de la Fournaise, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. 🌋🔥

          We ended the day with a visit to the Volcano Museum, where we deepened our knowledge even further.

          After returning, we were officially awarded our certificates, and in the evening, we enjoyed a lovely farewell gathering at one of the students’ homes. 🎉

          It was a full, inspiring, and unforgettable time filled with learning, friendship, and new experiences! 💙🌍

           

          Our mobility program concluded with a wonderful weekend spent together with host families.

          The program was truly diverse, and each of our students experienced something special. Some visited the Saturday market, bursting with colors and aromas – from fresh fruit and vegetables to homemade jams and hand-crafted products. Others spent the weekend relaxing on the beach with their host families. Some even attended a birthday celebration, and one student had the unique opportunity to experience a wedding.

          Sunday’s farewell was full of emotions.

          There were plenty of tears – from students as well as host parents – which only showed how strong the bonds formed during the mobility were.

          After the farewell, we had an 11-hour flight to Paris, where we made the most of our layover by enjoying a short but unforgettable tour of the City of Lights.

          This exchange was incredibly inspiring – it brought us valuable insights, new experiences, and friendships we will remember for a long time. ✨🌍✈️
